The Protector of Citizens expresses his regret for the fact that Serbia is not the safe place for those who differ from majority for their sexual orientation. The National Security Council and the Ministry of Internal Affairs today have only been able to recognise and establish that fact.

“The main issue is what was done yesterday, the previous days and months, to make such a decision inevitable and in which direction Serbia will go tomorrow. Each of us should ask ourselves whether tomorrow we will have to ask for permission, and from whom, to feel free in our own country and exercise some of constitutionally guaranteed rights, although belonging to a certain minority group”, said the Protector of Citizens Sаšа Јаnkоvić about this issue.
