On 28 October 2021, the team of the Protector of Citizens performing the work of the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture (NPM) supervised the forced removal of two citizens of the Republic of Turkey. They spent some time in the Shelter for Foreigners in Padinska Skela, from where they were taken to the Belgrade "Nikola Tesla" Airport and left the country by plane.

Data on the treatment of foreigners were obtained from police officers, the documentation kept about them in the Shelter was inspected and unsupervised conversations were conducted with them. Also, the procedure of release from the Shelter and boarding the official vehicle was monitored.

Cooperation with police officers during the supervision was, as before, very professional.
